Michel has more than 25 years experience in the media, entertainment, brand management, and product launch sectors. As Vice-President, Strategy & Development, he is responsible for developing the agency’s various accounts, in addition to supporting the digital strategy department. He has worked as Vice-President of Marketing and Sales for prestigious and renowned brands such as La Presse +, RDS, and La Cage aux Sports. He is known in the industry for his seasoned ability to oversee digital marketing transformations of power companies.
Role within the agency
My role is to help grow our client portfolios by accompanying new business partners in their digital marketing strategic shifts. In this era of accelerated transformation, every business faces its own unique challenges when it comes to going digital. My past experience allows me to identify these challenges and offer solutions expertly managed by our team. A strategy is only as good as its execution, and I am committed to offering optimal execution so that our clients can succeed and meet all their goals.
What is digital media to you?
Digital media has become indispensable when it comes to a successful marketing strategy. Precision, relevance, and measurability make it a first-rate targeting tool. It’s every marketer’s dream to pass from generic measurement technology to hyper-specific measurement technology that generates ultra-precise results. Still, we have to respect the fundamentals of marketing, which is to create an emotional connection between brands and consumers, all while focussing on creativity.
What is your hidden talent?
My friends say that I have a certain (real!) talent for grilling; they’ve even nicknamed me “Raichlen”. It’s a passion and a hobby for me, being in charge of grilling meat and sides to perfection. It’s similar to my career in marketing—I need a solid plan of action, I need to stay focussed, add my own personal touch, and ultimately, keep everyone happy and satisfied.
